We Welcome New Stallholders with Information about our Village Markets

 

Clevedon Village Market The Clevedon Village Market runs from 9am to 2pm - stalls are set up by 8.30am.

Stalls: INSIDE (table supplied plus chairs) OUTSIDE, 3 x 3 metre spaces (stallholders provide their own gazebo and table)

 

Clevedon Holiday Market The Clevedon Holiday Market runs from 9am to 3pm in January.

Stalls: OUTSIDE 3 x 3 metre space (supply own gazebo and table)

 

 

The emphasis at both Mike’s Village Markets is on interesting QUALITY handicraft products supported by value for money  ‘market’ tables/sites that compliment the handicrafts.

Such “market” tables are acceptable at the Controller’s discretion – have a chat before the day if you are not sure whether your product will be ok.  We want to encourage specialty food lines such as cheeses, salamis, olives etc.

We permit over-runs, ends of lines and quality seconds from local industry as these products are keenly sought out by the attending public.

With a few typically high priced or specialty lines - product 'exclusivity' will be allowed, but in general, more than one of a type of any product line is OK.

 

NO trash 'n treasure, or general second hand goods!  But we do encourage interesting selected collectables and antiques.

NO imported mass manufactured lines (cheap imports etc) except as approved by the organiser. However where NZ content is added then these products can be quite acceptable, eg local prints put on imported T shirts.

 

Bookings at any of the Markets can be for a single date or a sequence of as many as you like.

 

Booked spaces must be occupied within 30 minutes of the start of the Market or the Controller reserves the right to place a 'standby' stallholder in your allocated space if someone is waiting for a site.

MIKES BOOKING RULE  - If you can't come please phone as soon as you can preferably in sufficient time to enable us to advise people on the wait-list.

Cancelling will never be held against you as long we are advised. No excuse/reason is ever requested or required. We just want to know at least 1 day prior if possible. Just ring - there are answerphone messages on both phones.

We can process Eftpos transactions for all stallholders’ sales !  This service is available to the public to make purchases from all stallholders - without the need for cash.

 

Clevedon Village Market –  Every Sunday, 

 Our Village Markets operate from February to December, with outdoor markets in January.
